License your dog by May 31 to avoid additional fees

If your dog is named Daisy, Charlie or Bella, he or she has one of the most common names among canines registered in the Town of Sharon.

If your dog is not registered for 2024, this is the final month to get your pet a license without incurring additional fees. Dog licenses were due Jan. 1, 2024.

May 31 is the last day of the licensing grace period. After that, there is a $50 late fee added per dog. In addition, registrations after June 30 come with an additional $50 noncriminal disposition free per dog.
